In the Marshal’s Bootprints – a walking tour

The saloon car built in 1929-30 was used by Marshal Mannerheim in 1939-46. He travelled more than 78 000 kilometers in it during the war years. He received the German leader Adolf Hitler in it in Immola on 4.6.1942, his 75th birthday. 

The saloon car has stood prominently at the Mikkeli railway station since 1992. It is open to the public only on Mannerheim’s birthday (4.6.).
