School for the Deaf-mute
>>Puistokatu 1

The buildings for the School for the Deaf-mute designed by Th. Grandstedt were completed in 1900-01. During the Winter War the school housed the Headquarters’ command department, the commanders of artillery and the engineers as well as the medical and veterinary chiefs and their offices. In the Continuation War years the school accommodated a ward of War Hospital 17. Today the buildings house the Small Business Centre
of the Helsinki School of Economics and Business Administration.
